The Blitzed IRC Network has completed a day of celebrations in honour of its 9th birthday, on October 31st 2009. Peaceful demonstrations were held across the world to commemorate being one of the longest-running and most stable networks on the planet.
Blitzed Executive Board members attended parties in London, Seattle, Rome, Moscow and Tokyo. One, who wished to remain anonymous, said: "Here's to the remaining 991 years of our 1,000-year reign."
